Smart Lockers at Utilita Arena Birmingham
There is nothing worse than trying to enjoy a gig while juggling a bulky winter coat, a bag, and the tour merchandise you’ve just picked up.
To make your night easier, we’ve introduced secure, keyless lockers at Utilita Arena Birmingham. They are operated entirely through your smartphone, letting you head straight to the standing floor or your seat without the extra baggage.
We have a set number of lockers available for each event, so we recommend booking yours in advance to make sure you have a spot sorted before you arrive.
How it works

Book in advance: Reserve your locker online through our Booking Portal before you arrive.

No keys to lose: You’ll receive a secure link on your phone, so there’s no need to worry about physical keys or spare change.

Store and go: Head to the locker and tap 'Open' on your screen to unlock. You can nip back to your locker as many times as you like throughout the night.

Level 1 Concourse: Once you are through security, head towards Entrance F.

The Landmark: You’ll find the lockers right next to the merchandise stand, by the large windows overlooking the canal.

How much does it cost?
It is £7 if you book in advance, or £8 if you wait until the night. We’d recommend booking early to save a bit of money and ensure you get a spot.
Does the standard Bag Policy still apply?
Yes, the usual rules apply. We can only allow A4-sized bags (21cm x 30cm x 19cm) into the arena or the lockers. Rucksacks and backpacks aren't permitted, and our security team will search all items on your way in.Find out more about the prohibited items in the Venue Security page.
What can I fit inside?
There’s plenty of room for a bulky winter coat, your A4 bag, and any tour merch you pick up during the night.
What items are off-limits?
For everyone’s safety, please don’t store any prohibited items like food, liquids, or sharp objects. If it isn't allowed in the arena, it isn't allowed in the locker. Find out more about the bag policy in the Venue Security page.
How do I open it?
It’s all done through your phone. Once you’re at the lockers, just use the secure link we sent you to pop the door open. No need to keep track of a key or remember a code.
Can I share my locker with a friend?
Absolutely. You can send your digital access link to anyone in your group so they can grab their own gear whenever they need to.
What if I forget to collect my things?
Please make sure you’ve grabbed everything before you head home. We’ll hold onto general items for two weeks, but for security reasons, any bank cards or wallets left behind are destroyed at the end of the night.
Can I nip back to my locker during the show?
Yes. You have unlimited access throughout the night, so you can pop back as often as you like to grab a jumper or stash your new tour hoodie.
What if my phone battery dies?
Don’t worry, just reach out to a member of the staff and our team will verify your booking and help you get your things back.
What if I have a medical requirement?
If you need to bring in medical equipment in a bag that’s larger than our standard policy, please head to one of our Accessible Entrances. Our staff will be happy to help.
Are my things secure?
Definitely. The lockers are made of high-grade steel with encrypted digital locks. The area is also well-lit, under CCTV, and monitored by our team throughout the show.
Can staff get into my locker?
No, your digital key is private. Our team would only ever access a locker in an absolute emergency or for vital security reasons.
When do I need to empty it?
Make sure you’ve cleared everything out before you head home. All lockers must be emptied before the venue closes for the night.
Can I get a refund?
Bookings are generally non-refundable, but if a show is cancelled, we’ll make sure you get your money back.
