Open rain or shine, there’s plenty of reasons to take a walk down to the Arena even when there’s not an event on.

Tuck in to some delicious grub from one of our food and drink outlets or enjoy the great British weather with an iced coffee with spectacular canal side views.

The Birmingham Contemporary Art Gallery

The Birmingham Contemporary Art Gallery is the newest art gallery to grace Birmingham’s arts community and its aim is to offer a unique and hybrid experience in art to the public.

Run by husband and wife team, Albert and Sarah Wallace, the gallery boasts 1600 square feet of space and is situated just above The Boardwalk.

The gallery is set to become a prominent place to meet and connect with different people in the art world, have a debate about art, immerse yourself in the beauty of the art on the walls and feel energised and revitalised by the time you leave.

Ed's Easy Diner

Whether you’re in for a pre-event bite, stocking up after a show or just in or around the area with a hankering for a hot dog, you’ll find Ed's doing what they do best at the canal side of the arena.

Whether you fancy a cappuccino and a croissant on the go, or to sit back and relax with one our delicious hot chocolates, cakes and muffins, Costa has something for everyone.

Enjoy a handcrafted coffee from one of our expert baristas in our store on the Boardwalk at Arena Birmingham, with a wide range of carefully selected food and drink choices served in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Whether you are looking for a pre or post event meal or drink; a welcoming Lavazza coffee, a sparkling cocktail or a glass of BOTTEGA prosecco, drop by the new canalside Bottega Prosecco Bar & Restaurant on the Boardwalk at Arena Birmingham.

With canalside seating, we offer typical Italian prosecco and wine from the BOTTEGA range for a premium experience, paired with “Cicchetti” - small sharing dishes inspired by Mediterranean cuisine served in elegant surroundings.
