We go After Hours with The Weeknd
Is there anything this man cannot do? The Weeknd premiered his official short film ‘After Hours’ which is 5-minutes packed full of grit, art and production to rival the best. Sit back and delve into the mind of Abel Tesfaye.
Now, before you get stuck into this, we just want to point out that it's a slightly disturbing short-film and if you're not a fan of horror films or those kind of things, then perhaps swerve this and just stick to The Weeknd's music.
In support of his latest single After Hours and his recently announced After Hours Tour, The Weeknd has followed suit and completed an After Hours triple-threat with the release of After Hours the short-film. The 5-minute experience starts with The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye, finishing a performance on Jimmy Kimmel (the US chat show programme) before heading backstage...and well, that's where things start taking a turn for the worst.
Our words probably won't do the masterpiece any justice, so why don't you take a few moments to sit back and enter the twisted creativity of The Weeknd.
It's pretty incredible, isn't it? If this has got you NEEDING (not wanting) to see The Weeknd LIVE here in Birmingham, then look no further. He arrives here this October for night which promises to showcase state of the art production and one of the most innovative stage designs to date, plus, the most LED lights and video for an arena show. You do not want to miss this!
