U Better B Ready For UB40

The boys are back in town this December as Birmingham’s iconic reggae troupe return to the city! And here’s a little flavour of what you can expect! 


Birmingham’s very own, and world-famous reggae stars, UB40 return to their roots this December as they bring their massive 2018 show to our arena - and we cannot wait! 

Tell me a better Christmas bash than giving it large to Kingston Town, Red Red Wine and Rat In Mi Kitchen...yeah, you can't, it's going to be unreal!

UB40's show features five founding members including Robin Campbell, Brian Travers, Jimmy Brown, Earl Falconer and Norman Hassan, and long-time members Duncan Campbell, Martin Meredith, Lawrence Parry and Tony Mullings, so you know you're in for a treat!

British reggae and pop band formed in December 1978 in Birmingham, England. The band has had more than 50 singles in the UK Singles Chart, and has also achieved considerable international success. They have been nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album four times, and in 1984 were nominated for the Brit Award for Best British Group. One of the world's best-selling music artists, UB40 have sold over 70 million records. The ethnic make-up of the band's original line-up was diverse, with musicians of English, Irish, Jamaican, Scottish and Yemeni parentage.

So what can you lot expect? Well, fans can expect (A) ALL of the classic UB40 hits, including Food For Thought, One In Ten, Kingston Town, (I Can't Help) Falling in Love With You and Red, Red Wine (B) ALL the feels as Birmingham's very own proves exactly why they are one of the world's most iconic reggae troupes and (C) expect to witness one of the best live bands you'll ever see - honestly, you'll be blown away!
