What’s the first word that comes to your mind when we say ‘Bill Bailey’? Hilarious comedian? Have I Got News For You? QI?’d be correct with all the above, but how about LEGO? Yes LEGO!

Comedy legend Bill Bailey returns to Birmingham this June as part of his huge Larks in Transit live show, but before we get into what you can expect from his latest escapade...did you know he's a massive LEGO fan?

I mean, check out this actual BILL BAILEY LEGO MAN!

Bill is a self proclaimed LEGO super-fan, so much so, he's even dedicated loads of his Bunker Blog YouTube vlogs to the little yellow building blocks! He also appeared as a guest judge on Channel 4's Lego Masters (which is pretty much Master Chef but the only ingredient being LEGO).

Maybe Bill would fancy heading down to the opening of LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Birmingham, which will be open this year! Keep a look out for it!

Right, back to Bill's upcoming show. Larks In Transit is a compendium of travellers’ tales and the general shenanigans of twenty years as a travelling comedian. With musical virtuosity, surreal tangents and trademark intelligence, Bill Bailey tackles politics, philosophy and the pursuit of happiness. Plus, he fashions a symphony from a ringtone, tells the real story of Old McDonald, and re-imagines the Stars and Stripes.

Two decades of touring larks from a comic described by the Daily Telegraph as ‘the brainiest comic of his generation’, this is a show not to be missed!
